Are you one of the top scorers in SPM 2020?
Here’s some excellent news: the government has announced the reinstatement of the highly coveted JPA Scholarships 2021, thanking you for all of your hard work and overcoming the hurdles you faced during the pandemic.
The important details of the JPA Scholarships that you can apply for are listed below.
#1. What Is The Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara 2021?
JPA’s Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara scholarship is offered to all SPM 2020 students who have a minimum score of 9A+, regardless of the number of topics they have taken.
If you meet the required grades stipulated by JPA, the scholarship will cover your preparatory studies (e.g. foundation, pre-university) and will be extended to your undergraduate degree. You have the option of attending local public universities, government-affiliated universities, or private institutions.
What You Should Know
- Only local institutions will be covered by the scholarship (options are available for both public and selected private institutions)
A Levels, Australian Matriculation, STPM, Matrikulasi, Asasi, and Foundation are examples of applicable pre-university courses. - You are not permitted to self-fund your preparatory courses because this is a packaged scholarship program; if you do, you will not be given a degree scholarship.
- Those who fail to complete their preparatory course OR who do not get the minimum marks specified by JPA will be dropped from the sponsorship program.
- This sponsorship comes in the form of a loan that can be converted into equity.
Procedure for Submitting an Application
- From June 14 through June 23, 2021, applicants can apply online on the JPA’s official website.
- The deadline is Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 5 p.m.
- As evidence of submission, you’ll need to print the Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara 2021 confirmation slip.
